Using Operator

Files and snapshots

Add a file

Choose + → Add files or photos beside the prompt box, or drag supported files into the panel. You can also paste an image from the clipboard.

Check the previews before you send, and say how Operator should use each file.

Share the current frame

Open the composition and move to the frame you want to discuss. Choose + → Take snapshot, then add your prompt.

Prompt

How can I improve the spacing between this title and subtitle?

Operator can also look at frames of your comp by itself while it works. For a question about motion, say which part of the timeline to check.

Attach a video

Choose + → Add files or photos, or drag a video into the panel. You can attach up to two videos per message.

The video is ready to send when its chip shows the file name.

Operator reads the video on your computer and picks frames from across it. Sound isn't included, and the video file never leaves your computer.

Prompt

Recreate the title animation from this video in a new comp, matching its timing and easing.

Examples to try

A style frame. Attach a simple layout image and ask Operator to rebuild it as editable text and shape layers. See the example prompt.

A CSV file. Attach a CSV with Label and Value columns, then ask:

Prompt

Build an animated bar chart from this CSV in a new comp, drawn to scale with every label and value shown.

A PDF brief. If you use Claude API, Claude Code or Gemini API, attach the brief, then ask:

Prompt

List the dimensions, duration, text and colors this brief asks for, and anything it leaves out.

What gets shared

Attached content and composition previews are sent to your selected AI provider. For a video, only frames picked from it and basic details such as its length are sent; the video file and its sound stay on your computer. Only include material you are allowed to share with that provider. Your AI prompts and attachments are not routed through BorikLabs' licensing server.
