Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to boriklabs.com and BorikLabs products.

1. Information we collect

BorikLabs collects only the personal information needed to provide, license, and support its products and process purchases. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on boriklabs.com.

Our hosting provider may temporarily process standard request information such as your IP address, app or browser details, and request time. Operator's update check sends the app version and the same standard request information. Licence and trial verification also sends your licence key and an installation identifier. We do not use this information for analytics or advertising.

2. Operator: your device and your AI

Operator stores its settings, chat history, generated code, and API keys locally on your device. BorikLabs does not receive your API keys, CLI credentials, project files, source footage, or final renders.

When you use Operator's AI features, your prompt and selected project context are sent only to the AI provider or supported local client you choose. This may include composition settings, layer names, expressions, preview frames, and files you attach. BorikLabs does not receive this information. It is handled under the privacy policy and terms of the service you choose.

3. Purchases, licensing and updates

When you purchase a BorikLabs product, payment is processed by the provider shown at checkout. Operator purchases are currently processed by Polar. BorikLabs does not receive or store your full payment-card details. We keep the purchase and licence records needed to provide, verify, and support your licence.

4. Support and optional feedback

If you contact support or send optional feedback from inside Operator, we receive your message, your email if you provide one, and basic context such as the Operator and After Effects version and your operating system. We use this to respond, troubleshoot issues, and improve our products.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, or share it for marketing. We disclose it only as needed to operate and support BorikLabs products, or as required by law.

6. Service providers

BorikLabs uses service providers where necessary for website delivery, payments, licensing, and support. These providers process information only for the relevant service and may do so in countries other than the one where you live.

7. Data retention

We keep purchase and licence records as long as needed to provide your licence, process refunds, prevent misuse, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Support messages and optional feedback are kept only as long as reasonably needed.

8. Your choices

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information BorikLabs holds about you, email support@boriklabs.com.

9. Children

BorikLabs products are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold, but no system is perfectly secure.
