Terms of Use
These Terms govern boriklabs.com and BorikLabs products, including Operator. By downloading, purchasing, or using a product, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Operator is
Operator is an AI agent that works inside Adobe After Effects. It plans tasks you describe in plain language and can write and run ExtendScript in your project at your direction. Operator runs inside Adobe After Effects; BorikLabs is not affiliated with Adobe.
2. Licence
Purchasing Operator gives you a personal, non-transferable licence for one user on up to 2 devices. You may use Operator for personal and commercial work. Each user needs their own licence.
3. Trial, payments and refunds
Operator includes a seven-day free trial. Payments for Operator are processed by Polar; pricing is displayed at checkout, and BorikLabs does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Operator includes a seven-day money-back guarantee: you may request a full refund for any reason within seven days of purchase by emailing support@boriklabs.com from your purchase email. When a refund is issued, the licence will be deactivated. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to purchase Operator.
4. Updates
Your purchase includes one year of updates. You can keep using any version received during that year. Afterward, you may continue using your current version or purchase another year of updates.
5. AI providers and integrations
Operator connects to third-party AI services and supported local clients. These services are separate from Operator. You are responsible for signing in, any AI usage charges, and following their terms. Their availability and data practices are outside BorikLabs' control.
6. Creative output
BorikLabs does not claim ownership of the projects, expressions, scripts, animations, or other creative work you make with Operator. You are responsible for reviewing the results you use and for having the necessary rights to any material you provide.
7. BorikLabs intellectual property
Operator — its code, design, and system prompts — belongs to BorikLabs. Your licence does not transfer ownership. You may not reverse-engineer Operator or extract its code or prompts, except where the law expressly permits.
8. Prohibited use
You may not use a BorikLabs product to break the law, distribute harmful software, interfere with BorikLabs services, or violate another person's rights. You may not resell, share, or transfer your licence or licence key, or use Operator on more devices than your licence allows.
9. Disclaimer
BorikLabs products are provided "as is." We cannot promise they will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with future software versions. AI-generated results may be incorrect, so review changes and save your work before using automation features.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BorikLabs is not liable for indirect losses, including lost profits, work, or data. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the BorikLabs product involved. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Support and termination
BorikLabs provides reasonable email support but does not guarantee response times. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms.
12. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction in India.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Contact: support@boriklabs.com.
