Reference
Attachments and vision
Give Operator a reference to work from: a style frame, a screenshot, a brief or a small data file.
Add a file
Choose + → Add files or photos beside the prompt box, or drag supported files into the panel. You can also paste an image from the clipboard.
Check the attachment previews before sending. Remove anything you did not intend to share, and explain how you want Operator to use each file.
Share the current frame
Open the composition and move to the frame you want to discuss. Choose + → Take snapshot, then add your prompt.
Prompt
Look at this frame. Suggest two ways to improve the spacing between the title and supporting text. Do not change anything yet. Operator can also request composition previews while working. These are snapshots or sampled frames, not a continuous view of everything happening in After Effects. For motion questions, name the time range or the behavior you want checked.
Supported files and limits
| Type | Examples | Per-file limit |
|---|---|---|
| Images | PNG, JPEG and supported browser-readable image files | 5 MB after Operator's image processing |
| Briefs and reference documents, on supported connections | 10 MB | |
| Text and code | TXT, Markdown, CSV, JSON, JS, JSX, HTML, CSS and similar supported text files | 2 MB |
You can attach up to 8 files per message, including up to 5 images, with a 25 MB combined limit. Images may be resized or compressed; the version sent is not necessarily the original full-resolution file.
PDF support depends on your connection
| Connection in Operator | PDF attachments |
|---|---|

| Claude Code | Supported |
| Gemini API | Supported |
| OpenAI API | Not currently supported in Operator |
| Codex | Not currently supported in Operator |
This table describes Operator's integration, not everything a provider supports elsewhere. For an unsupported PDF connection, use a text excerpt or images of the relevant pages.
Word and Excel documents, audio and video are not supported attachment types in this release. Export relevant spreadsheet data as CSV or share text or images instead.
What gets shared
Attached content and composition previews are sent to your selected AI provider. Only include material you are allowed to share with that provider. Your AI prompts and attachments are not routed through BorikLabs' licensing server.
